Brad A. Case, MD, FACS, has more than 25 years of surgical experience and a record of distinguished military service. He is committed to advancing patient-centered care. Dr. Case received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University, master’s degree from Georgetown University, medical degree from Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, and completed his general surgery residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. Following medical school Dr. Case entered the U.S. Army Medical Corps. He served in Operation Desert Storm and was awarded the Bronze Star and Valorous Unit Commendation Award, as well as a Meritorious Service Medal, two Army Commendation Medals, two Army Achievement Medals, a Combat Service Medal, and an Iraqi Medal of Freedom. During his 10-year military career he was also stationed in Germany and Korea, as well as bases in the US. Dr. Case has been practicing surgery in the Grand Valley for nearly a decade. Prior to moving to the Rocky Mountains, he practiced surgery in Florida and Maryland. He and his wife are delighted to be raising their three boys in Western Colorado. When Dr. Case is not seeing patients at Valley Surgical, Aesthetics & Vein Care you will find him cycling, skiing, playing tennis, and coaching sports teams for his boys.
